Birth/Death and Marriage Registration

Marriage Registration is  done at Sub Registrar office, 6th floor, Kuber Bhavan, Vadodara

There are two types of marriage registration :

Fresh Marriage When bride and groom are getting married through registering in the Government office. List of  documents to be submitted :

  1. Application form duly filled
  2. One passport size photo of bride & groom
  3. Leaving certificates/birth certificate of bride & groom
  4. Aadhar card copy,
  5. residency proof(ration card/electricity bill)

      (all copies  should be attested)

Old marriage when the couple is already married according to tradition and  wants to register in the government. List of documents to be submitted :

  1. Application form duly filled
  2. One passport size photo of bride & groom
  3. Leaving certificates/birth certificate of bride & groom
  4. Aadhar card copy,
  5. residency proof(ration card/electricity bill)
  6. Copy of marriage invitation card/affidavit regarding marriage on 50 Rs. stamp paper
  7. If children are there then their birth certificates/LCs

      (all copies  should be attested)

Procedure after 30 days is same in both type.

After 30 days of submitting these documents, the couple has to visit Sub registrar office for registration, along with  3 witnesses with their ID proof (attested copy) with them.

Marriage agreement ticket of Rs. 200 

Form for getting copies of marriage registration certificate duly filled (available in forms section) with Rs. 3 ticket

Declaration form (available in forms section) with Rs. 3 ticket
