Navratri :

This is a festival to worship Godess Durga. It is celebrated for nine nights. ‘Gujarats’ traditional folk dance ‘Garba’ is performed by people , especially young girls and boys. They are clad in traditional costumes. People gather in big grounds to perform garba for nine nights. Professional singer troops are employed for singing Garbas. The festivals is celebrated with enthusiasm and pomp.

Uttrayan :

This is celebrated on 14th of January every year. People go to terraces early in the morning and fly kites throughout the day. In the evening, people party, dance and enjoy.
